Tap Ins ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Tap Ins mobile app and website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and optionally a phone number and profile photo when you create an account.
• Sign-in data: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those services. We do not receive your password.
• Gameplay data: scores, round history, courses played, and performance statistics.
• Rewards activity: points earned, tier status, and redemption history.
• Usage data: general app activity used to improve the app experience.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate your account and provide app features such as scoring, leaderboards, and rewards.
• To display your scores on leaderboards (using your display name).
• To send you communications about rewards, offers, or venue updates — only if you opt in.
• To improve app performance and fix issues.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We use the following services to operate the app:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — optional third-party login. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
• Vercel — app hosting and delivery.
• Lucra Sports — powers our optional real-money tournaments and head-to-head challenges. If you choose to use these features, Lucra collects and processes your account, identity-verification (KYC), and payment information directly, governed by its own Privacy Policy.

These providers process data only as necessary to deliver our services and are contractually obligated to protect your information.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy & Age Requirements

Tap Ins is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our optional real-money tournaments and head-to-head challenges are available only to users who are at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age required in their jurisdiction) and who complete Lucra Sports' identity and age verification. These features are not available to anyone who does not meet that requirement.

Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time within the app. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to your Profile and select "Delete Account", or follow the steps on our Delete Account page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
